More on my anti-AI approach for my grad seminar course. I've posted before that we're doing an in-class assignment that should be relatively easy if you answered the short homework assignment yourself.

My favorite type of question here is draw out the pathway that you described in words.

I actually don't think we have any or many students using AI this year, but this has revealed a lot of misconceptions that I don't think we'd see without it.

Very nice analysis of how free transit fare can make a big impact.

TLDR:
Cuts traffic
Cuts boarding times->speeds trips
Reduces the burden on courts and unneeded criminal convictions for fare evasion
Decreases bus operator assaults
May not increase the cost of transit for the taxpayer because the cost of fare collection often is a major expense for transit systems
(not to mention reduced traffic reduces road maintenance)
